Our Story
It all started with a Christmas gift from a friend - a box of tea bags from Africa. As I drank a delicious cup of tea grown in African soils, I felt a physical connection to its origin and began to naturally pray for the salvation of Africa. A spiritual connection to Africa was made through prayer and a conviction to mobilize prayer missionaries for the salvation of the rest of the world. I began to seek out teas harvested in different nations and establishing physical and spiritual connections to the continents of the world. I also began exploring ways to trigger missionary prayer through simple reminders. The Holy Spirit revived my prayer for finishing our great commission over a cup of tea.
As I told the story to others and gave others tea from different continents, they began praying for the world too. They also encouraged others to do the same, resulting in alliance of purpose, and the beginning of a prayer movement.
Now we are growing a network of disciples who take our great commission seriously and we intend to do our part by finishing it during our generation.
"I would rather teach one man to pray than ten men to preach." (C.H. Spurgeon)
What is a Prayer Missionary?
A Prayer Missionary is one who consistently crosses geographic, cultural, and spiritual barriers in prayer to make disciples of Jesus
"Intercession is truly universal work for the Christian. No place is closed to intercessory prayer. No continent - no nation - no organization - no city - no office. There is no power on earth that can keep intercession out." (Richard Halverson)

"The man who mobilizes the Christian church to pray will make the greatest contribution to world evangelization in history." (Andrew Murray)
